(view spoiler) [It depends what you consider cheating. He was the beginning, and end of everything else. He knew my heart was paper thin when he came back into my life, but he walked in like he belonged there.
And somewhere through the story of Paper Hearts, and the chapters of our lives, I’d become a memory between the pages, and he was the one lost in the words.
IMO, it cheapened what could have been a beautiful story if not for those inserts (see safety info).īut overall, I did enjoy it and this quote sums up the entire thing: It ruins everything good up to that point in believing they are meant to be and doesn't allow characters to develop & work hard for their HEA. Written mostly in heroine's POV, a 12 year in the making, you could feel their pain and what they had to go through to get their well deserved HEA, but I hate when writers incorporate certain overused tropes (view spoiler).
